How To Put Fake Eyelashes On, And Keep Them On!

Eyelashes are the anchor of my makeup; I cant leave the house without them, from the years of wearing them constantly (and I wont lie, neither will I recommend it, but sleep in them also) I have mastered the best technique to put them on, and keep them there!

Through wind, shine, rain, tears, and sleep!

For this you will need to have (obviously) a pair of fake eyelashes; My Favourites are (if you can believe) Primark £1Sultry Lashes!

The thing I tell all my friends and family is that you don't have to buy top name brands for them to look good; the thing I like most about the Primark eyelashes is how long but natural they look. They don't look too over the top, but have enough thickness that they opens up your eyes without over shadowing them!

You will also need Eyelash glue, I use Eylure, Lashfix - strip lash adhesive, which is available in most good stores, for example; Tesco, Boots or Superdrug!
Be very careful to get strip lash and not single lash adhesive, as single lash adhesive hurts in large amounts!

I will now show you and explain the best I can, how to apply and anchor them to your face!

To start; wash, clean and dry your face.

Step one:

Remove them from the packet and along the edge add a medium amount of the glue, leave for 20 seconds (Or there about) and place on eye by holding each end by the eyelashes them selves.
(Be gentle as the eyelashes can come off the strip)

Make sure the row is as close to your eyelashes as possible!
(Although any gaps can be hidden)

Once on they should look something like this!

Step two:

Coat the top of the eyelash with glue, go past the edge of the eyelash in the corner closest to your nose; because if your eyes water for any reason it will prevent it from making your eyelashes come off at the corner (or at least help prevent it!).

As scary as this looks, it does dry clear!

Step three:

Once dry add mascara or eyeliner as you would to your own eyelashes!

If you have a steady hand, you can also add an extra layer of glue below the eyelash strip for extra security!
(I only ever do this if I know I am going to have a particularity watery eyed day, or as I call it,
Cry-ey eye! )

Taaaaa Daaa!

Hope this helps! Comment or email me if you have any questions :)

Lots of love as always,

x
